About Me
I started painting in oils in 2024 during a journey with breast cancer. My treatments left me totally exhausted and resigned to a recliner. I hated that! I had to be busy doing something so my creative side came to the surface! I found a local art class and quickly found my niche among wonderful artistic people sharing talents and life! During multiple hospitalizations, I discovered diamond art and passed the days away placing those tiny beads onto a canvas. These two art forms truly saved my sanity. Over time, I found a love for painting birds and began seeking out photos of birds from all around the world...local birds and New Guinea birds of Paradise. Again, I expanded my color palette to get vibrancy in my paintings and also in my diamond art. Take a look. Offer comments and suggestions. And, if you see something you like, buy it!
